Safety Warnings

  • If you are using Zero Carry version 1.0, never tuck clothing in between Zero Carry® and pants or between Zero Carry® and body.
  • Zero Carry version 2.0 is “Tuckable.” However, make sure that you do not allow clothing to get into the trigger guard area.
  • Do not wear loose, torn or tattered clothing near Zero Carry® .
  • Be mindful of possible entanglements. Eliminate them.
  • Do not carry with chambered round in gun – We cannot anticipate every Zero Carry® owner’s level of firearm competency or training so we recommend not carrying “Cocked and locked”.
  • Consult your gun manufacturer’s up to date carry and handling instructions.
  • Do not extend Zero Carry® beyond its longest length adjustment (see graphic)
  • Do not insert the Zero Carry® or draw a firearm with your finger on the trigger.
  • Always make sure the Zero Carry® is properly locked into place on the user’s belt.
  • Check to make sure the Zero Carry® does not interfere with any safety features on your firearm. Do not use the Zero Carry® if it does. Do not use the optional retention strap with weapons utilizing a palm safety device. Do not allow the retention strap to interfere with safety mechanisms of any type.
  • Always check the Zero Carry® for wear or damage before each use. This is important to assure that the Zero Carry® will continue to function as designed and intended. If any damage is found please contact Zero Carry® immediately.
  • Always follow your firearm manufacturer’s recommendations and instructions regarding the carrying and transporting of your firearm.
  • If your firearm offers a safety switch, it should always be in use while the Zero Carry® is inserted. Do not disengage it until after the weapon has been drawn and is clear of the Zero Carry®, and pointed in a safe direction.
  • Always use care when inserting the Zero Carry® into any handgun to avoid unintentional cocking of the firearm.
  • After placing the firearm and/or Zero Carry® into your waistline, check to make sure that the firearm is not in a cocked position.
  • Do not use the Zero Carry® to carry any firearm that has been modified or that is malfunctioning in any way that might cause an accidental discharge.
  • Do not carry any semi-auto firearm in a cocked and locked condition or with a live round.
  • Always carry with the firearm’s safety fully engaged and working properly. Check you firearm’s safety regularly to make sure it is working properly. If your firearm does not have an external safety always follow the manufacturer’s warnings.
  • We recommend that everyone practice using the Zero Carry® with an unloaded firearm. Always inspect the Zero Carry® prior to using it in both duty and off duty situations. We believe that proper training and regular practice is needed prior to using Zero Carry®.
  • Any modification to the Zero Carry® can result in injury or death.
